Spoke to a technician a Renault today and he says their may be another mount apart from dogbone that bolts from the left handside to the subframe like a ren 19, i ain't had time to look for this nor have i time tomorrow but currently the car is off the road due to being undrivable to say the least,,,, i first started thinking i had problems with the mounts but this seems to have escalated into something else, the car whines like mad then thuds into gear the gear selector is all over the place and it seems as if one of the mounts has completely snapped but on inspection all seem okay?????
the battery tray mount was changed last week - okay
the dog bone was replace by the last owner and is a gen ren one and looks very new - okay
Top engine mount on quick inspection seems okay to the eye
when revving the engine their doesn't seem to be much movement from the engine so I'm now puzzled the only thing i can think of is a shaffed box????
Has anyone suffered from similar symptoms???
