Just had a big scare

Start up car, and as its idling the oil pressure drops to zero. Obviously turn the engine off straight away. No oil warning light.

5 min chat to Nick Hill and he told me probably just the oil sender unit being faulty. So i drive it and the guage pics up again and seems fine now.

Obviously after what happened to The Jesus i wasnt going to risk it.

His oil pump failed and damaged his bottom end. ooo errr

Bottom ends need lots of lubrication. Oooo errrrr misses.

Horrible feeling when you think somethings about to go bang.

I didnt think it was oil pump as ive just had a new one, but you never know whats going on in these engines. Thought it better safe than sorry to just turn it off.
