went to powerstation in tewkesbury today to RR the valver :)

http://physix.org/cars/RR.jpg

Im happy with that. 143.4bhp!. so taking in to account any errors, id say it was on form! :)

think their drag loss calculations are a bit out... :p

your wheel power is 79bhp? :?

Matty86

yeh, everyone had massive drag at the wheels. this RR does that for some reason :/

the corrected bhp for everyone seemed about right though :)

Use wheel BHP on here and engine BHP down the pub!

79bhp can't be right can it? :/

Seriously everyone that's the way we should do it on here. Power quoted on here should be wheel horse power. Cuz we all know that WHP is what counts on the road. Quote the engine figures to your mates who don't know about cars!

What say you all?

i thought you all were my mates :( :?

what is an average loss to the wheels?

about 13% or some shit?

I think that rr is busted... or you have some transmission issues.

what is an average loss to the wheels?
:-({|= -audience- "Ahhh!"

We are! I mean the mates who know **** all about cars! Y'know, the ones who say stupid things like "Your car's old so it can't be very fast."

Oil temperature at 11 degrees Celsius??

Drop in BHP Curve gradient from 3000rpm - 4600rpm
I am pretty sure the Gradient at any point on that graph is the acceleration of your car. therefore suggesting a slight loss in 'acceleration' between this range - can you verfiy this when you drive?

otherwise - 143.4bhp - very nice!!

i notice the end of the dip. its the classic 'gutless until 4000rpm' thing

i'd say it was still a fairly good, consistant curve, pulls to the limiter

ive got IC and exhaust (straight thru + back box)

and a R19 'box apparently

Should be 20% loss for atw power, so roughly 110atw?

So does that mean you should change at 6500 or 7000rpm? :S
