hows do i adjust the compensator at the back as mine keep locking up due to it being lowered and fooling it into thinking its got weight at the back, either that or its something else but any help or suggestions welcome
thanks
lanky
I've heard this before on the older models. I think its brake bias valve.
It applies more braking force to the back as it thinks you have a car full of weight due to it being lowered.
Not sure how you adjust it or if you remove it but someone on here should know.

there is a 10mm nut on a threaded rod,.. it literally is a trial and error performance, unless you have brake meter or rollers.
What if like me your mildly lowered at the rear but also weigh less than standard at the arse end - would that roughly even it back out and not need any adjustments?
I must admit I've never had the rear locking....
dont think it affects the later models Daz.
Only Ph1's iirc.
Oh?!
Hmmm (investigates previous education on matter...)
wrong imo
ive worked on a williams 3 (vts_saxo's williams 3) and it has the bias valve.
iirc all williams and 16v's had them!
mine does as i replaced it (phase 1) and the williams 3 had one (phase 2)
well mine doesnt.
Only one I've ever seen with them on are Ph2's.
Not saying your wrong like, but thats all I've seen them on.

You sure you don't have one? Looks like a cylinder with a rusty spring going round it and lots of brake pipes going in/out... bet you do have one, unless it's been removed?
is one on my ex valver, not checked on the williams
They all have them, be very surprised if yours doesn't nyk, must mean its been removed.
