The F7P

As you probably know, im having the F7P engine (1.8 16v) in my maxin s clio, just wandered wat other cars the engine came out of, i know obviously the clio, the 19, but wat others? Anything like a laguna, espace or something insurance friendly that might make my insurance lower.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I know what you mean. But if you ha an F7r lump, they take into acount what car it comes out of, so williams would bump it up a bit as its grp 17.

But it pissed me off that you could say its out of a megane and get cheaper insurance.

Oh yeah, megane 2.0 is basicaly the same :P

no it doesnt, and if you cant afford to insure it dont do it, or rather if you ever run into me and your not insured, make sure you can run away very fast :wink:

I wud never ever not insure it, and its not the fact that i cant afford to pay for it, its just if the engine is out a car that has a lower insurance group but is still the same engine, im only thinking of the pennies u save at the end of the day. Im sure most people on here wud do the same.....
