My Valver Pics

Hi! First pics ive taken of my valver since owning it for 2 months! Quite bad a I know but they came out ok :)

Car is basicly standard at the moment. Since owning it, its had Silkolene 5W-40 oil, ITG panel filter, Dizzy, Top mounts, Cam/Aux belt, Roter Arm and NGK plugs. Got Bass's old magnex system and bought my own de-cat for it, would like a bit more pop and crackle on overrun tho.

Next on my list is 2 clear front fogs, 4 new yokos in 195/50, R19 gearbox mount and to flush out the cooling system and clean my header tank!!! Feb time im hoping to fit my Avo 25mm springs onto some nice new Koni shocks. Not bothered about the height to much just want a more firm ride. 8)

yeah! an old couple had it for 14 years before trading it in for a new clio. was then sold to the guy I bought it off. I did pay over the odds for it, but its great :)

Didnt come with shed loads of history, but I did have a word with the Renault garage it came from and the miles add up to what they have on their system. It had only done 9000 miles in 1997 when it went in to Renault for some warrenty arch rust work.

I wanna keep it looking preety much original misus performance and subtle styling mods ;)

well its an absolute beauty mate, bloody good find regardless of price, tbh i'd pay through the nose for one in that kinda nick these days, most are rotting away!

That looks really nice, worth whatever you paid. I would replace the coolant bottle, doubt it will clean up very well. then the bay would look new.

Have the alloys been refurbed at any time?

not as far as i know. It still has its original tyres!!! they are getting abit naughty so changing all 4 shortly :)

cost me £2400 a couple of months ago. I have spent nearly £1k on it for service parts with the labour :(

Cant do sod all on it here at the flat, i need a driveway!!

I dont think the 25mm at the front and the 20mm at the back will be enough to make it look non standard. Im only doing it to stiffen it up.

Judging from the comments on here and cliosport I think i will be purchasing 2 new yellow front fogs then and keep it looking as original as possible.

The paint has flaked off slightly around the manual sunroof, i need to get this resprayed as its the only bit to let the car down. That and a few swirl marks from the previous owners which i need to get out somehow? Also looking at it yesterday looks like the boot as been resprayed at some point in its life as its very slightly "orange peely" :) Nothing bad enough to worry about tho.

I am purchasing 2 new yellow fogs as one of mine is looking quite bad inside. Also will be fitting 25mm lowering springs and poly anti roll bar buches to firm up the ride.

Need my 4 new 195/50 yokos first! my original tyres are cracked somewhat!!

Yes this was on Autotrader, I picked it up from Norwich.

Car did need a few bits doing to it but apart from the creeky steering column is now fine :)

Couldnt find any Williams's in this kinda condition and with these miles tho :P
