Right so got a pipe flaring kit.. how do i use it??

But doesnt come with any instructions and I can't figure out how to use it!!

looks better than the one i bought! :)

You slide the union onto the pipe, and use the different diamaters bitty to clamp the pipe tight, then fit the attachment into the end of the pipe, and use the press thing to push it into the pipe, against the clamp. thus flaring the pipe, and stoping the union coming off the end.

I think thats how I did it, but it ****ed the end of the pipe didnt flare at all?? How do i no which size thing to use as well :|

the one that grips the pipe well, and use the correct size of fitting for inside the pipe. think its 3/16" iirc.

if its a steel pipe they are a bastid to flare properly as i said before.

finally got it all sorted! didn't find it tht hard to flare the steel pipe... harder to get it straight so i could slide the union on!!
