Fibreglass bonnets

yup, took bonnet and tailgate for moulds to be made.

They will be just a skin, and so fitted on pins.

Im not having these made as a new sales route...its primarily for my own benefit lol, but i will be willing to supply them as a DIY basis. I.E you primer and paint them and you mount them. consequently, they will be reasonably priced (read cheap!).

this site is frequented by plenty of DIY'ers, who begrudge paying full-whack for products when they can do have the job themselves. these will help such people out quite alot.

Funnily enough, he said to drop the doors round for moulding, so will get onto it.

theres a number of ways you can fix them to the car without hinges, just depends what your prferences are.

As long as I can get it to look totally standard I'd have em - thats my goal now I think 100% standard looking but with something a bit naughty going on 8)

The molds are complete and two panels have been taken. I will have pics by the weekend.

Prices are going to be roughly £150 for a bonnet and £175 for a tailgate.

Possibly something like £300 for the pair if you want one of each.

I'll start a new thread when i get the pics.
