i remember seeing a workshop on the net exchanging
your old unit with a refurbed one for 80quid :shock:

the only problem is i did not bookmark the fecking thing :evil:
i know its in swansea though :roll:

£400 will get you a rebuilt box with full set of new bearings and 12 months warrenty.

I got a JB5 box repaired for a mate,details below

Replace :~ 1st ~ 2nd Hub & Fork,4th Synchro ring,replace casing.
The box had locked,and ripped the 3 x 12mm gearbox mounting bolts out :cry: :cry: :cry: ,rendering the casing scrap ~~ save for welding the holes and re~machining :roll: :roll:
Total cost £300 + vat = £352.50
He also did some remedial work to the gripper diff,that was in it.

think i paid around £500 for a rebuild and new casing as my old casing was shot aparantly
