right, today i thought i'd turn the front dogbone bolt around so i dont get an 'electronic dump valve' sound coming from the downpipe and bolt vibrating together!

I got the bolt out... went to put it back in and couldn't figure out how?! :?

Do i have to take the downpipe off, or pull it down or something cos there's no way that bolt was going in any other way!

The bolt head is meant to be by the exhaust isn't it? at the moment, the nut and threaded end is next to the exhaust!

HELP!

Thanks,

My bolts are through the way yours are, you can level the downpipe down off the bottom of the car with a long bar enoguh to slip it in (ooh err), or you cn do it properly and disconect the downpipe from the manifold and drop it down.

Or you can bodge it and chop then end 1/2" or so off the bolt so the downpipe doesn't hit it

I didn't know the kind of space you have to do these things lol

Try using an angle grinder on a rusty fog light bolt

Trolley jack under downpipe. Undo the bolts. Drop it. put bolts in other way. Raise downpipe. Voila.
