Unfortunately thinking of selling my 16v due to commuting and insurance. It’s had a fully respray in 449 blue, Prima Williams Replica 15inch wheels, Scorpion exhaust, Toad alarm fitted, very good service history form first MOT, only coming up to 69k, really looked after no dings. If I end up selling it will be really missed.
In the garage…

I want £2100 for it,just wondered if you guys think this is reasonable?

Cheers, Titch

Far too expensive imo, mint valvers are £1k tops, i'd certinaly never pay over £1k for one, and £1.5k for a hybrid, thats tatty williams money you are asking

agreed.

sorry :(

valvers are worth fook all these days, even if that one was the cleanest example in the uk, it prob wouldnt be worth 2.1k.

yeah havent both needed loads of work tho!

i paid 1800 for my hybrid last year and its been decent enough.

low mileage means fook all with cars imo. mite be low milage, but sat about for months and months, not serviced properly, not driven sensibly etc etc.

a well looked after everyday car will drive much better than a low mileage older second car. FACT

tbh i think that its worth it, seeing as the mileage is low and it looks pretty mint. Someone who appreciates it will buy it.

I just paid £1900 for my one, you all think i probably got ripped off, but its a genuinely clean nice car, and thats all i wanted. I guess the only reason the price was high was because of the 49k mileage too.

i dunno was that black valver earlier in the year which fetched 3k, condition and buyer is what its all about.

Yeah i paid alot but with the low miles comes great condition. Most of the stuff including tyres are still the original from the factory, there are a couple of chips on the door edge where the old lady who owned it for 14 years has opened it onto something and the sunroof surround paint has flaked off in one place. but thats it!! the rest is mint.

Spose low miles dont mean everything but they do help.

I suppose its easier to replace an engine than years of mal treatment...

Its a buyers market out there, and if i was a potential buyer and saw all the forum members who in theory would know the most about there cars, saying there worth peanuts. I wouldnt want to offer much either.
So i wonder why the cars have dropped in value quite alot .
Look on a garage forcort and youll see sierra's for £900 on the forecort so why should clios be alot cheaper.. for example.
