Thought i would try and get some pics up of my car (after seanofnp being persistant in that regards)...

Bit dirty but all the same anyway - will get better ones once i have had a chance to sort it out a bit more.....

also if you are wondering...That is final abode's willy 3 in the corner...

Yeah persistant coz its mint! Apart from that door. Get it cleaned polished mate, you wont regret it! Defo a great find!

Good to see ya being so enthusiatic about the car mate!

Leathers - yep in very good nick - but they are still gona get a good leather cleaning and then some leather creaming to bring some of that sharpness bak in...

Well the tax disc isnt creeping anywhere - but when ur driving at respectable speeds (yeh rite!) through blackwall tunnell even pieces of paper get frightened (specially wen that exhaust note at +4500 rpm starts composing the automobile equivalent of mozart and reverberating in the tunnel).

Doors will get sorted soon... first got to get these things sorted...

Key and Immobiliser
Rocker Cover gasket
Steering Welded
Exhaust Sealed (small hole somewhere)
Mounts (engine/gearbox)

The williams on the left - is meant to be on 25mm lowering springs - howeever me and final abode both think its closer to 35mm. Anyhow i think there is a good chance it wil be returning to standard height - lowered cars and speedhumps dont mix!!

That willy looks as low as mine does on the front - agreed ot doesn't like humps... doesn't seem to like keeping its original arches either!

yeah i think it might be too low, its supposed to be avo -25mm springs :shock: :roll: :)

i think ive bored ppl asking about standard ride hieghts :oops: but i just couldnt get my head round that it was 25mm drop, got a second opinion of bass direct when i saw him on the weekend and he also reckoned it was much lower.

Fook knows lol - everytime I've had the wheel off I forgot to have a look - can't see them when its on :shock:

Its a love hate thing with them though - the cars so bloody good on the front with them!

I'd say they're about the same..

I want coilovers next so I'll leave it as it is for now, raise it a tad then

yeah they look exactly the same ride hieght, but i think my back might be a touch lower.

it handles superb , zero body roll. i just hope that by raising it , dont loose the sharpness in the handling.

Reason mines higher at the back was simply because I hated it!! looked too low so I just ripped out everything that was ever at the back - bit tail happy now but good for a larf :D

One random thing i dont like about early valvers are the orange needles... this bother anyone else, or am i in the minority?

As for the dials - i dont tend to look at them much - can hear when the gears need changing - as for GATSOS - they have been tested and apparently dont work at 150mph+

Hope to get the Willy (Prima) alloys refurbed in white at some point in the future...but IMHO i think it looks really nice compared to how it once was....
