basically wanting to replace the fuel lines from the footwell up,
obviously its a bit silly buying renault lines at £80 when i can get stainless braided hoses at £8 a metre! the question is what is the size of the hoses (could someone measure me the original hose size please) and routeing suggestion as it would prove difficult to route them the 'normal' way as the piping wont be shaped liek the originals, does 4 metres each sound long enough lengths or too long for each hose (bearing in mind i dont want to have to cut it down with it having the rubber end fitting already attached!

4m each will go from the tank to the front with spare!

1.5 metres each is more than enough and will leave it loose.

You need to secure the lines as they will rub through anything they touch.

oh i presume its best to keep the lines as far away from heat as possible too?

thats the general idea my man. They don't suffer like low pressure carb lines do though so they can tolerate it better.
