Hi,

Before I start I need to point out that I have searched for my question lol...I like most hate when people don't do this first!!..

I just need to know something very simple...

I currently have a Hillpower Chip on my Williams, I am looking at changing this to a Gunnerchip, 2 questions...

1) As I have a Hillpower already, I take it will mean me simply unplugging the hillpower one from the carrier and plugging the gunner one in??
2) Realistically is it worth me changing from Hillpower > Gunner?

I have am running a decat on standard system, and an itg element/cold feed to standard airbox (Willy3)

Simple questions I know, but not having experienced a Gunner I really am stuck.

Thanks in advance

Andy

YES - you can change chips very easily. A direct swap.

Why change? What would be the point? Just my thoughts. :)

differant chips - differant maps.

Yeah but, the difference would surely be not noticable hardly.

thanks for your comments guys...

iam running 7100 rev limit with the hillpower chip, but am just a little concerned about the other posts and negative feedback thats going around...

think ill give the gunnerchip a go... would you say 7100 is high enough or could i push to 7250/7300?

IMO, probably not a lot of difference between 2 go-fast chips. As it is, there is only a small improvement between the standard chip and any pre-mapped go-fast chips.

But then again, as gunner puts it, it is only 22 pounds for his gunnerchip.

Why bother changing? The only thing worth doing is getting it mapped not swapping chips.....

isnt the gunner chip a copy off the hillpower chip?

having had a Kill Power chip on the Williams I'd deffo change, mine was quicker with standard chip on standard rev limit, it was complete and utter shite.

that was my other option, to revert to standard, but the gimp previous to me didn't keep the standard chip!

I might try a gunner as it seems to be the nearest compromise to standard + i like the raised rev limit.

thanks for all your helps guys

hillpower chip works fine in mine....although midge & winston had very good results using a gunnerchip..

I run a "gunnerchip" in mine at the moment.

It's a standard map with raised rev limiter.

Err thats not what you said on the phone to me? :?

Mind you, you did give me two chips... one you said was standard with raised limiter, the other is for a cammed profile + raised limiter iirc.

Correct me if i'm wrong. :?:

gunner

Do you have any map for megane engine, with standard parts?

Only raised rev limiter or corrections with air/fuel ratio?

Do you send it to Slovenija(EU)?
