12V source?

Just got my mount for my PDA to use as a tomtom :)

It currently plug in to the ciggy lighter but I want to connect it directly to a 12V. Where is the nearest place I could safely do this to? Should i just wire it to the bottom of the cig lighter? :)

or the back of the head unit so you have an ignition live. Don't forget an inline fuse!!

ive put it on the cig lighter now. Although the wire is yellow, its still switched :?

unit is fused, but i will stick another fuse on too :D can't hurt :)

just got to route the cable behind the dash now :)
