any major differance between the 195/50's apart from the obvious and the 1.1kg more lol.

Makes the car sit a little lower? Handle any better etc from your lots experience? I need to replace 4 of my valver tyres v soon.

PLLLEEEAAASSEEE dont start this again.

PMSL

for Dan 16v who obviously did not see the big discussion on this last time, If I were you I'd just try the 195's and see if you personally prefer them. If you do stick with them, if not go back to the 185's next time your due tyres again.

the main difference is that 185's are pap. sure, they are great if you drive like a granny, but 195's are simply much better for going quickly imo. and yes, i've had both

Can't say I've had problems with pap 185s when not driving like a granny on the track. Perhaps when you're driving like a granny you just realise the 185s are better suited at slow driving as well Jesus?

Back to my original topic...  :P

I actually had a phone call the morning after I emailed Goodyear to ask!

Top quality service!

The nice man said that no, they're not stopping production, they're just a bit short at the moment, so panic over 8)

He also asked what car I had, mentioning that he wouldn't recommend them for MGFs? (I thought they were standard on them? Weird...)

I wouln't sell any tyres to an MGF owner they obviously haven't got a clue and they/the car should stay off the road.
