Ok, painting and fitting my fibreglass bonnet this weekend.

Do i keep the renault badge or smooth the indentation over?

My current 449 bonnet is debadged and IMO looks quite good, but this bonnet is going to be white  so im not sure. remember this will have 4 or possibly 6 bonnet pins on it as well!

from family and friends i have had mixed opinions, and currently im swayed towards keeping the renault badge...but what do you guys think.

Dan_mk1 has got his Renault Badge on his and it looks fine.

If you can, try and find a white bonnet and photoshop it with the badge off...

Keep the badge as it keeps the front end looking better. Breaks the lines up abit.

How come your going white stew?

Coz its easier spray than 449, and should go well with my white interior, white wheels etc.

It will also look a bit more slagtastic. If i dont like it its going 449.

Also thanks for the comments and votes guys.

Im more swayed to keeping the badge, unless you can convince me otherwise.

which badges does it have it on, the ones on boot itself or the trim ?

stew

i have no badges on the boot, or on the bonnet just now.

imo the boot dosent make any difference, its the bonnet im interested in.

do i smooth the bonnet before painting, or just leave it the way its ment to be?
