Torqing up spark plugs?

I bought some spark plugs and a spark plug spanner to use over the weekend. Trouble is, how do you torque up the spark plugs is u cannot attatch the T-bar/spanner to a torque wrench? Are the spark plug holes big enough to fit a extension socket down? Matt

they are, but its not an critical torque figure.

I never toque em up mate. screw em in by hand until too tight, then just nip up, dont need to be stupidly tight though mate
