Hi im due to go to pod soon every video ive seen of clios going up pod they have the bonnet removed. I assume this is to increase airflow but surely what u make in airflow u loose in aerodynamics?

When are you going pod dan? I'll most likely be going on the 5th, i'll have tools with me to remove the bonnet...

mainly do it to loose the weight..

martin's tried with and without bonnet various times, you get 2mph more terminal speed with bonnet off

tis true in my experience....aerodynamics mean sweet fa below 100mph or 90mph if ypur in a valver

what time should i be looking at getting roughly? Standard low miles valver with de-cat, magnex system and panel filter. High 15's or low 16's?

when you go there dan, take the back seats out, and spare wheel, and bonnet when your there, you should be getting anywhere between 15.5 - 16.0 depending on how 'strong' your engine is

its strong as any 29k engine its just slow as **** as its been used as a shopping card by some old lady all its life!! :( See how it goes. I will be removing the rears seats and spare wheel tho.

yeah wicked! i don't mean strong like that! on these cars you get your good engines and you get your weak ones! the strongs ones hit 15.5-15.7's all day long, where as some of the weaker ones no matter what the mileage seem to hit say 16's...

Should be good, i'll try make it for the 29th :)

Lads, when u take all ur crap off ur car...where do you store it?

Just chuck it on the grass bit, nobody ever touches it, usually theres a tent or two there with ppl camping, so we ask them nicely to keep an eye on it!..

if theres stuff like mirrors etc, just chuck it under the bonnets..

Don't be a sad geek, i've seen people taping up the gaps on teh front of the bumper etc.....WTF :? How sad do you wanna be???

You want a jet engine and do it in 8 seconds at a terminal speed of 250 mph

Has anybody removed the rear bumper yet? Loose the 'drag' affect!
