im thinking about putting my standard airbox back on the williams, at the moment ive got a shitty k&n on.

What do u guys reakon a k&n or a standard airbox with a ITG filter ?

Also thinking about taking my magnex exhaust off at the same time and going back to standard. not sure tho

Defo go with a standard airbox as it's better for performance in most cases as well as being a lot quieter. As for the exhaust, I'd take it off but leave a de-cat on there. Particularly as it's a rubbish Magnex!

just like the idea going back 2 standard, i wouldnt think having the magnex exhaust on would make much different?

go back to a standard airbox with a direct replacement K&N inside.
you might get a little more performance than a standard filter and they will last you a lifetime. :wink:

hmm yeah, not had any problems with magnex before lol

go with a std airbox and panel filter, about the best and cheapest solution!

cool standard airbox will be going back on 2night, still not sure what 2 do with the exhaust, i like the magnex exhaust but just fancy a change!

Ive been renting my standard airbox out to bass direct for about 3 months now for £10 a day. Its all accumalating mate ;)

But seriously dude, will need that back soon when i get ma car \:D/

I use the standard box with an ITG panel.

whats up with the magnex lads? good build quality but just quieter than the scorpions/mongoose.

I've had two cars with them on and they've both broken in various places for varoius reason on numerous occasions!

gettin into winter now.....sooooo lots of cool/cold air .


i usually run open ind kit in winter months...and std airbox k&n panel in summer.


open ind seems to give better results than the airbox wen its cold....airbox better wen its warm....outside temps.
