Ran Toyo Proxies all round but changed the fronts for some budget ones for the MoT and tbh they're fine; steering feels slightly lighter as they aren't as soft as the Toyos too.

Any new set of tyres will make the steering lighter than old ones. That's just what happens :)

Toyo T1S 195/50 R15 are the best i've tried
I use them on both the RT and the Williams

past history of tyres include
pirelli's p6000
michelin exalto's
avon
falken's
kieber
yokohama a539's

Toyo's seem the best to me. They grip well in the wet and they look good as well.

I got eagle F1's all round cos eveyone raved about them. Now I have them I see why.

I've always been into Yoko's or Michelin Pilots, but the Eagle F1's are great. They perform well in the wet too compared to the Yoko's and the car seems to turn sharper and more precise.

Will def buy them again.

They will be more comfy with a bigger profile. I noticed a real change when I went from 40's to 50's.

im gunna change from 185/55/15's to eagle f1's in 195/50/15's for my phase 1 valver wheels. £142 for 4 decent tyres isnt bad at all!! www.mytyres.co.uk ;)

I've been using yokohama a539's for a couple of years now and find them pretty good. Might go for EAGLE F1's this time. Just out of interest I've looked on the Mytyres website and if you go to purchase the Eagle F1's they put 4 tyres in ur basket automatially. Are the rear tyres the same as the front when in comes to tread patturn...... :?

Also....If most people who buyt tyres off the internet just go to any garage and get them fitted? Don't garages get a bit funny about that if you are not buying the tyres from them directly? Matt

using a539's, driven on PE2's and eagle F1's.... a539 far better performance for there price, but PE2's are unreal, but costly.

out of all of them, my next set will definatley be the yoko's again 8)

if you turned up at our place and asked for 4 tyres fitting we would fit them, its still money for fitting even if we didnt sell the tyres, only parts dept make any money on tyres not us! we can only make anything from fitting!
