Completely new to this clio malarky but here goes lol. Just bought myself a phase two 16v. Towed it alll the way back to Edinburgh from Nottingham. So far all looks ok although i think a new gearbox will have to come soon as it is a bit crunchy.

Hopefully the pic worked lol.

The trip back was a long slow porcess but well worth it!

Tis Monaco Blue i think, 103k on the clock, 3 of the 4 OZ alloys are broken beyond repair :( I have put 15" tsw wheels on it just now. The guy who owned it previously crashed it up a kerb but has replaced the subframe, steering rack, track rod ends, and steering column. Also he had just had the rear arches sand blasted and painted. It has Gaz coilovers on the front, a K&N induction kit and a full exhaust with decat (not sure of brand) but it sounds amazin!

It will need a lot of work but i am hoping to have it on the road once i finish uni. i'm not a mechanic but one of my best mates is a renault tech at the mo so that may come in handy

Welcome to the club and good luck with the car!

Attached are some pics of progress.

The drivers side was the worst off after the previous owner mounted a kerb. The front wheel was totally smashed, the wing was badly cracked and moudlings and stuff had fallen off the door.

I aquired a set of 15" tsw alloys of a mate (sparky on here) and fitted a new wing and mouldings. I plan on getting different wheels for when i put it on the road but was thinking about refurbing these in black for winter wheels.
