A lot.
I have driven my sisters 1.8RT quite a bit, they are a whole lot more "squigy" than a valver, performance difference is large.
laine get me some pics of that 1.8RT engine now!!!!!! :)
really, really need them dude!

I can get you as many as you want at the weekend?
I am not home till then, and nor is my sister, that ok?
yeah man, thats sound! :)
just really need to know the difference, before i transplant my RSi engine in and make my RTbrid
*massive* difference between the RT and the 16v :D
but the RT was my first car, so cant really compare it to anything else
Ive got 1 or two crap pics of the engine bay, will see if i can dig em out :)

about the best pic i have of the engine bay
Should be the same as the RSi, just different manifold/injectors?? *shrug*
cool man, got any more??

sweet, so to look at, the only thing you can really tell thye RSi apart from the 1.8RT is the inlet manifold??
this is going well, RTbrid on the way people!!
why were you using the engine crane on it? engine out?
was changing all the mounts. Could've just jacked the engine up i know. but, have crane, must use! :D
lol, i suppose...
do you know what the differences are between the 1.8RT and the RSi block... from looking at it, as far as i can see its just the inlet?
im not entirely sure, having never seen an RSi block before :p
but from what i've heard, it is just the inlet manifold/injectors
Not sure if a conversion is possible, but it must be. It would be worth it to for 110bhp :)
btw, the inlet and outlet manifolds are on the same side and are kinda 'meshed' together. Meaning its a bastard to take them out etc if the engine is in the car :(
The other problem I had with mine was the connection between the downpipe and the manifold. No matter what I did it would blow!
