Replacing water pump on valver.

Can anyone tell me how to replace the water pump. I have started the job but am having trouble because I can't see what is required to gain access to the bolts on the top point of the water pump.

Please can someone advice me before I pull my hair out.

Alot of patience, got a load of bolts to get out and not alot of room to do it in, patience

My problem was the two top bolts. Access to these are blocked by a metal plate and I can't see how that would come off either. The plate in question is the one where the tensioner is mounted.

I have spent hours trying to sort this today.

i think the only way is to take off that plate, which requires removal of the alternator, and power steering pump bracket, when im building my hybrid engine im going to remove that section of the bracket just in case
