anybody else have trouble fitting this? im presuming its the sensor on the drivers side of the radiator? is there a trick to gettin access to this because im strugglin a bit to get a socket or spanner down there

Take the radiator out??

I did mine 0ut of the car when engine was out, other option woudl be take slam panal off and pull top of rad forward to give more working room

Not very hard... obv take the pipes off, bonnet off, cross-member off, rad mountings off (at the top) then just pull it out iirc, can't remember if you have to take the fan off first, I have a feeling you do as there is fck all room!

Can just manover it out with the fan on but its a ball ache, i'd try to do it with the rad in first, i had to use a big adjustable on it cus the nut is stupidly big

slam panel off big socket and a wobbly extenion or u/j and undo it with a ratchet

managed to get at it without having to take anything off, just just a 29mm socket with wobbly extension, was a pain in the arse! thanks for the advise from everyone.

got one more question though, when abouts should the fan kick in?
