yay finaly its been sorted

after taking my car to a few exaust places and replacing the gasket i couldnt understand why it was still blowing
it turns out someone had replaced the 2 exaust bolts with 2 17mm normal bolts meaning at the flexi part of the exaust was solid with no flex so was blowing(mainly in reverse)
so after 3 differnt garages failed to pick up on this or mention they were the wrong bolts i thought i would try replacing the littel springs and while i was at it i bought some new exaust bolts
hey presto jobs a good en :)

think it worked out about £27 for springs/bolts/nuts
a lot cheaper than buying new manifold which 2 garages recomended :?

also learnt most garages are fekkin useless and only know how to fit new exausts  and will promply fekk up ya car and deny it

i paid £34 for my nuts bolts springs and mesh gasket! had my car booked in at an exhaust centre, and the day before it was due to go in, i had an accident!! typical.
the car is still on the mean so i will get the blowing sorted soon and there may well be another happy post like this!! :D

i know who applied the 17mm bolt mod.... i think it was due to a snapped manifold rod
