every 30k miles your meant to change box oil i believe, but just do it evey 10k or so to keep it tickety boo.

I find the easiest wy to get to the filter is underneath the car in the gap between the sump and the subframe, fidly but saved getting rad out e.t.c

Box oil every 10k? Are you having a laugh?

Most people change their engine oil in performance cars around every 5k but i've never heard of people changing the box oil every second engine oil change.

to get to the oil filter I undid the bolt holding the rad at the top on the drivers side as this gives enough movement of the rad so that you can get your hand in to the oil filter. If you can't get it off by hand then hammer a screwdriver through it from the bottom as there is a gap between the subframe and the sump where you can get at it. Then once it's started moving you can get it off by hand again as I mentioned above. I've heard people talk about removing the rad etc but there is no need as theres enough room to get the filter out in the gap next to the rad.

I don't remove anything to get to the oil filter.
I just slide my hand in between the rad and alternator.

damm right there is not .

renault says the box is a sealed unit and the
oil should not need changing
entire life of the car .

personally if i know the box oil has not been changed before i would deffo
change it and leave it till the box goes bang .
it makes a good difference especially when the oil that came of the box
looks like a mixture of poo and melted white chocolate ,lol

10k box oil change ,lfmao
