There's probably several ways you can do this but i can honestly say this one is quick and it works.

1. wind back the sunroof fully

2. remove all rubber trim from the inside of the sunroof.

3. remove the electric control panel and all plastic trim.

4. in order to seal the leak first you need to loosen the top plastic trim where the water seeps in. as shown above... this hole is where water gets into the sunroof runs through the channels and down into the centre console.
as shown below

5. The screw which holds the sunroof are located under the fibreglass roof lining. use a 10mm spanner to get to these.

6. once the roof trim is loose give it a good clean. i use this..

7. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d196/jayce72/IMG_2090.jpg

8. fill the gap or like i did the entire roof outer trim with silicone glass sealant. using a plastic knife to push in the sealant.
i even used my thumbs and fingers. :?

9. begin to tighten the roof up, aware that silicone will begin to seep out of the trim.

10. once tight give the trim a good wipe to remove the excess silicone.

11. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d196/jayce72/IMG_2079-1.jpg
your end result should look like this with the gap filled and barely noticable. :D and not a leaky drop in sight!!
