It appears the diff on the gearbox of the 16v is the cause of my annoying noise. Basically it makes a sort of constant clicking noise and it appears to be the cause. Basically I just wondered if anyone knows how long it's likely to funtion OK for even with the noisy diff?

The thing is that it's just had a new box put on not so long ago and tbh I can't be arsed with the hassle of putting yet another new box on.

lol, yeah I did mate - I think I posted up what it was a while ago. Basically there wasn't enough fuel, lol. I had misunderstood how to check the voltage to the injectors so thought they weren't firing but after a while I found out that they were firing. I then checked and there was no fuel getting to the engine so I checked for blockages in the fuel lines etc and took the fuel pump out to check the pipe inside the tank hadn't come off and all was OK apart from the fact there was no fuel in the tank. The thing is though that I had put in 2 gallons a few weeks before incase that was the problem so I tried putting in another two gallons and it started up perfectly. It seems to be that the pump from the aux tank to the main tank is buggered so although it would usually have been enough petrol to start it wouldn't because this was broken.

Btw in relation to the problem I'm talking about there are two video I took below. The first was with me spinning the wheels and the camera next to the driveshaft/gearbox and the second was with me pulling/pushing on the end of the shaft.
