halfrauds oil, good oil is all the same. You can usually tell if the temps get over 100 it's shite imo. Costco and Halfrauds have been as good as any designer/branded shite I've used.

***Edit*** Castrol not Mobil sorry, is the worst though, dont touch it.

oh and 5w/40 in the winter and 10w/40 for the summer in mine.

magnatec 10w40 nal, top stuff. when i bought my 16v the oil was full and within 2 weeks was nearly empty. put this in n everthng is nw hunky dory!!

I use Shell Heluix 10w40 semi synth. Best stuff i have come across by a milion miles for the clio track car.

Tried 5w50 fully synth race oil for trackdays, but was shite.

For the price i wouldnt look further than a good 10w40. Thats what renault intended them to run on!

the best IMO
proven in my RT its done 150,000 and still sounds sweet! :D

check out the mobil one site and the million mile test.. its convinced me... not all fully synthetics are the same.

Carlube TripleR 5w/40. Generally, change syn oil every 3k to 5k miles, check that the tin says API SM or SL (preferably SM) and ACEA A3 or A1 (pref A3). If it gets dark brown too quickly - do a couple of quick changes to get clear the accumulated gunk.
