if its for insurance purposes you have to state it as Factory Fitted.

On my old 1.2 with the fitted imobiliser from renault it was cat 2 and then you fit a cat 2>1 alarm which brings it up to cat 1

immobilsers are cat 2, alarm/immobilser combo's are cat 1....
