wierd problem

My revs are all over the place at the moment.... but i have noticed that when still, if i turn the steering from side to side, the revs drop and the car nearly stalls... as if the power steering is affecting it somehow??

anyone have an i dea of why this is happening or excperienced it themselves???

Sounds like an alternator problem to me fella.

Check what it's charge rate is

Belting too tight or baerings are going.

hmm an engine driven hydraulic pump, heavily loaded when the cars sittign still makign the revs drop, hmm I'll have to phone Taggart for this one :roll:

Thats normal

However the revs should oonly drop slightly and it will highlight any other issues like a clogged up ICV or TB, give them a clean.
