The place is looking a little bit bare, so heres some colour....

Was a fantastic day. Well worth the 400mile drive down and.... errr.... partly back up! Great to meet up with everyone and put some faces to names!

Found Cadwell easy enough to learn, but difficult to carry the same speed through the corners as cadwell masters like martin. Had some great do's with Gaz and Scott and Martin at the end of the day! Cheers lads.

Special thanks to Bayliss  , Rich for the hospitality, Martin for the crazy passenger laps!

Several pics - mostly not mine! :P

I have to agree, that blue 16v looks like something very rong has gone on. Suspension collapsed? Wheel fallen off?

**** off newbie! When you were too young to get in the bloody pubs (I remember THOSE days well. Oh....the tears) I had already owned some serious performance hardware!

Bloody kids, no respect these days.

Remember you're talking to the UO Legend.

Lol!

Gods die. Legends don't, they move into Myth.

I.D. was an issue for me even at 26, in fact I got asked the other day in Asda when I bought soom booze for a BBQ...and I'm 33 now lol.

Once I get to know a track, I'm a hard bastard to beat and, unlike you, I'm not a fat bastard lol  Advantage Wobba.

But let's just wait till we are on the track eh sonny jim?

I'll have a Williams very soon. Yay! May pop up your way around Xmas.

Thats my fault.

I was out on my second stage of laps in the morning, i had martin in with as he missed out on a ride at Brands.

Was held up by a dark 172 for a lap then this trophy filled my mirrors, he was very close so as i couldnt go anywhere i moved over for him to pass. we did a lap as a 3 car convoy behind this 172 before he finally moved over for us to pass....decided to tag onto the rear of the trophy as i still hadnt done a flying lap as i was still getting to grips with it.....

Anyway - we did 3/4 of a lap from what i remember and the trophy looked alittle unbalanced on the corner before his accident, he made it round that section but the following left hander he went in too quick and wide and the back end came round....the car darted off to the left into the barriers hard. I just looked at martin !

i wasnt close but i think the combination of having a passenger to impress and me being kept behind so he didnt get passed didnt help matters.

Don't worry about it mate, at the end of the day, the guy should know the golden rules:

A. This is a TRACKDAY not a Race

B. Stick within the limits of your driving

By the sounds of it, he ignored both and was forgetting the mk 1 behind him was faster than he thought!!

awesome pics mate, great day, the cup was running really well for it's first time out, forgetting the little spin at the end of the day that is! Not sure i would travel all that way to do cadwell again though as i didn't like it as mouch as other tracks. Can't wait for Oulton.

very well against everything other than the mk2 cup car and the v6's!
