F7R is in apprently, but is also caught alight or something PMSL, in true Bass style it must be said.

2.0 ECU would'nt work so its running on a valver ECU too.

Teething problems eh? :P

stan
09-10-2006, 19:47
i was meant to be, but he got someone cheaper local to do it....shame its not problem free, see cheaper isnt always best!

I said to him half an hour ago...make sure the wires are on the right way round :?

unless the garage put them on the wrong way and bass has corrected it just now.

I'm BACK!

thanks very much to craig who helped me out on the phone! thanks also to flan and lunner, and not forgetting gav who offered to drive down and help me out! lol :D

cheers to nick and jay too for staying up late lol

the problem was the wires from the starter/alternator and battery shorting out, so it blew out the alternator, now i've put new wiring in, but the alternator is ****ed so it's not properly done at the moment, i'll have to change the alternator tomorrow morning and fingers crossed it'll be fine!

oh and....

IT'S ****ING FAST! :D

it was... but i needed it done ASAP due to the buyer of my engine also needing it done asap!

didn't really have the time or petrol to drive 230 miles to wales

no doubt the engine will be back once again @ APD for bottom end work, and a big valve head.
