How do i get the boot strip on my williams 1 back to black?
It has greyed, and also has some very light areas which have gone very grey.
Did someone say nail varnish remover?
Heat it up Rob, colour/paint will rise to the top. Nail varnish remover does the trick as well.

Cheers for the centre caps mate. Got them today. Sat on my wheels now. Need to find some paint that I can re-do old ones and keep as spares.

NVR doesn't work too well on these TBH. I've got a spare that I'm going to try the hairdryer trick on.
get some of that migures trim detailer ! that worked ok when i did summys just make sure you wash the car and keep putting it on every week, it will get it back slowly but when it builds up it will look brand new !
