As the money from road taxes goes to our road network (it has to come from somewhere, and it's still there/being added to, so you can't argue with that!), I'd say £175 is value for money. Not sure about the tax on petrol though :?

Worst purchase? Williams stickers - thinking they were the wrong ones and spending £55 quid on new ones, only to find that they were actually right ones

Shouldn't be that much. I taxed mine after the budget and it was £90+ for 6 months, not £105.

tax n all, it may go into the roads, but not in sheffield it dont! roads here are dreadful, and i mean really bad. council have won 10m to sort em, but guess when? project lasts 10 YEARS! what a joke, i'll have a sensible comfy car in ten years when all my hairs fallen out, i need smooth roads now. atm it feels like am riding a three legged camel everytime i take the car out......rant over

even enthusiast owned clio's are no good (unless your lucky). At the end of the day all of these cars are 10 years old, and some where along the line you need someone to spend a lot of money on getting the car up to standard. What normally happens is somebody buys the car and for example the clutch go's 2000miles later, they replace the clutch, a few months later decide that its too expensive to run, and the chain continues with something else going wrong on the car for the next owner!

imo anyway

hows that ?
over the years iv owned a lot of cars and id say this is the tightest felling car iv had (apart from brakes) iv never had so much confidence in any other car
granted none of the others have been 2.0l hot hatch (punto 1.6 sportin ,98 clio ,2.0lsierera last cars)
but in no way would i say any other was better because its newer
iv allways prefered retro cars(had campers n beetles) so having the plauqe is where its at for me for the feeling like u got summat old u can keep

btw worst mod is crappy tax disk holder from fcs
how the f*ck do u stick metal to the window
