Gearbox Cable Thingy

Noticed this at FCS, forgot about it but thought it might be important.

The rubber thing that sits on top of the gearbox and has a cable running into it has a split in it. Whats the problem with it

The clutch clicks when the pedal is depressed

thats ur clutch cable mate going into the gearbox to the clutch lever, mines split n all so doubt its that causin the click!

nothing, will either the cable frayed and catching, or the pdeal mechanism on the way out, if that was clicking you wouldln't hear it in the car trust me
