That looks a very tidy example on how William's should be... looked after and kept looking there best.... rather that kill them with bodykits .... Very nice motor mate

cheers guys, ive made a bit of a mess trying to get the pics up ill try and get the rest up asap. its just had a major service including its second new timing belt and a new aux belt along with the other usual stuff. i bought a set of piper verniers to use with the kent cams i bought but it turns out they couldnt be used as they were too wild a duration, 276 degrees can only really be used for track use with throttle bodies so ive sold them and im going to get a pair of catcams/awt cams instead 263 degree jobs to use with the verniers instead. oh and i want the wheels refurb'd as the silver lip is corroding in places.

The last pic of the Williams 3 before it rolled...some 40 Minutes before the incident iirc.

Really was a shame.
No one was as gutted as me and my bro tbh.

Even after all the Mk1 Clio's I have seen, still yet to see one in comparable condition.

:( :( i'm devastated! I had been looking to buy it back as a second car (I own a Lotus Exige now).

I was the second owner of this car and owned it for 3 years up until mid 2003. During that time it was cherished and always garaged under a car cover and never ever driven in the wet. I also spent a small fortune at R.Sport in servicing and maintenance. They knew how anal I was about cars and used to park it diagonally across the parking bay so no one would ding the doors. The mechanics there loved that car too!

I owned the car from about 17k miles to 27k miles and no other example I drove ever felt as tight and sweet as this one. It took me about 6 months travelling up and down the country until I found this example. I sold it to a chap called Allan who flew down with his son from Scotland to buy the car...he was a nice chap and I was glad it was going to a good home.

Anyway, this is very sad news!

PS: the pic that people always mention is the one taken from the rear quarter in a drive....thats my pic. I will figure out how to post pics here and I will post a bunch up showing the car in its former glory...including some pics alongside my brother's Lancia Delta Integrale Evo II Lagos Blue.
