I hear it achieved a 0-60 of 4.04 at GTI internatiol this weekend. 8)

The 4.004 was done at Bruntingthorpe and its bad traction for launching - it has been timed at 3.8 at the pod.

I think ive sorted the bad handling thing out by bracing the longer of the 2 driveshafts and fitting new slicks - seems a bit better.

great news matt - will be a shame to see the hard work in the shell to go to waste - but im considering the polo - would be class.... :twisted:

U ever thought of taking the car to get the front suspension custom made to to sort this kind of (common ????) problem out ?

A bit far from you, but these guys will make you up pretty much anything...

They made a 650bhp 4-cylinder 4x4 rallycross Focus, and then later turned it into a rear-drive V8, so they're pretty good at custom stuff!

Might be a little far to travel though...

there is a place round here somewhere....they make shafts etc from scratch. gear tech or summat they called..canny remember now....will av a look see if i can find em.
