As the title says, valver seems to grind a bit into reverse, all other gears are ok and reverse is sometimes just most of the time it isnt, recent new clutch cable mate did it for me about 3 weeks ago. New gear box oil also hope its not the box, also you can put a diesel box on em cant you? Anyone tried it? Bet its flat out on acceleration? Cheers anyway, just thought id get all my problems out the way, lol.

I had a new clutch on mine like 500miles ago and it still grinds into reverse, just have to wait a few seconds and be careful with it! the last thing i want is the box to go.

just put it in 2nd then reverse, you will get no crunches if your clutch is ok

I doubt it will be the clutch. I have a brand new JC5 gearbox and brand new clutch, and mine still grinds sometimes..

Like Lunner says, you have to wait a few seconds before putting it in.

Definately dont put it in when the cars still rolling forwards, ive been there before and it doesnt sound good!
