are piper vernier pulleys the same fitment for a clio 16v and a williams? just out of interest?

cheers mate, could be getting some cheap off a mate, is there any issue's with piper pulleys, sure i've seen on hear someone disscussing something about them? like do they catch on something?

or am i getting them confused with something else?

I think the issue was with kent pulleys not pipers.

kent cams are the one with the bad reputation


apparently they dont like high revs or something???

only 1 failure with the piper pulleys as far as im aware of! think that was experienced by nick hill a while back. however he still uses them in his cam packages and swears by them!

KENT = SHITE - Stay away! :wink:

*stan highly recommends the use of catcams cams and pulleys if you can get some. very good price and much better standard than piper apparently!
BenR also uses catcams IIRC!

Catcam pulleys are the ones that catch the cam cover.

Theres no issue with catcams pulleys fouling the cover....there used to be with the old bolts they used.

i know of piper opulleys failing, but no where near as many cases as kents.

i dont...just get a die-grinder on the inside of the cover....
