power boost valve!
what is it?
what do they do?
are they good or bad for ur engine?
does it add power?
just thought i would ask these questions as i am very curious about these things

waz, no point, all it does is clip onto fuel lines and supposedly increase fuel pressure, but as ecu doesnt know what its doing it does nothing! :wink:
When i had my car rolling roaded a couple weeks back the guy doing it told me i could get 10bhp from a power boost valve.... think he was talking out his arse.

Apsolute pile of shit, I had the FSE version, and left it off when I had my 2.0 conversion done, just a gimick, all they do is use up more petrol imo! :shock:

all depends on the mods. run one on my turbo motor. does increase fuelling which if you need it as decided by a rolling road tune then does in crease power. if your car deos not need extra fuelling and you fit it and over fuel your car then you will lose power. horses for courses

i know what u mean!
so what engine mods would u guys suggest with 300-400 quid i know its not alote but its all i can afford at the mo :)

i was a nova man myself! saying that i still have 2 of them lol :D
suggest a free flow filter element and a chip wizards re map. after that its head work and cams. talk to nick at hill power for more advice. or pm stan on here.

a re map consists of recoding the ecu to provided accurate fueling and ignition settings to make the best of the mods you have already done.

Ah you've got Daniels old 16v then! Good example! :)
No valver for me atm but i used to have a blue one....i'm away to stick an RSI engine into my 1.2 though :)
