well, got my car just about 2 week ago now... finally got round to lowering it yesterday (-60mm apex) .... all the hard work done by a good mate off cliosport (ad) (see pic) and i pranced around acting like i knew what to do ;) lol

Shocking the size difference of the uncompressed springs against each other

Winded down the tosion bar about 60-70mm

Finally lowered with and feels alot better now, talk about feedback through the wheel, can feel every fookin bump... lol!

there she is, i have also sprayed the steelies black for now until my Renny5GT rims come and the shocs on the back seem to have lowered a touch and bedded in more, even fookin lower and no rubbing yet! :D

will get better pics soon, wanky phones pics

its so shit ride cause you are running standard shocks.

if you get a set of 60mm lowering shock and a new set of 60mm rear shocks your wide will be inproved consideribly more that it is now

looks good low

i will get some more pics later lads, it looks mint and will be purchasing some Avo or Apex lowered shocks also, should improve the ride and handling dramatically!

Coops- it is sitting even lower now the shocks have bedded in at that hright, getting a few bits sorted when i get home from work and will get some looooow pics! :)

I ran standard shocks on my lowered RT for all the time i had it, it was fine. Save the money for a valver :twisted:

Looks good, especially in that stance 8)

I wanna know how much mine is lowered I was told 60mm but mine looks lower than that. Looks great btw, just needs some deep dish 13s or 14s and smoothing now lol.

lol, yeah mine is on -60 mm apex at the front, these should settle in a touch more, now after settling in about -70mm or so on the torsion bar :D

dead chuffed, took some pics yesterday and will upload them when i get home! :)

to fit the new discs? lol

i didnt know half the stuff he was doing, it worked though!

you need to remove it to remove the disc dont you, as well as the torqs screw ones

yeah he's jsut refitting the torx grub screws, impressed you still got em mate, most of mine have sheared off!!lol

no need to touch hub nut to do fronts!

we were also changing the pads aswell as discs if that means anything? lol

will the disc come off without removing the hub nut?

yep, u need to remover caliper and carrier to get it off easily, but cuz the bearings are seperate the hub nut can stay on, hub nut only holds bearing and driveshaft in! 8)

Last 2 cars i've had torx screws have been in and working, only this car has both sheared off in both hubs, makuies doing stuff like changing ball joints etc and being lazy and not removing the disc more difficult

mine are sheared on one hub, same hub i've stripped one road bolt on n all, new hub on the way we feel!!

can still get the disc off tho! 8)
