Coilovers on, Spare Wheels and a few bits

Just a few updates.

Coilovers are finally on...best £400 (ish) lol quid I ever spent. The suspension doesn't knock anymore, it feels ok to have the car so low and I don't have to go round corners slower than a dead granny anymore. It's like a go-kart :D

It's 'slightly' lower now :lol:

ignition coil is easy, do as i have, undo two nuts holding it and turn it upside down, job done!

Looking great mish...any more pics of the lowness? how many turns off the bottom of the strut are you?

I really like my Ultimate Coilovers, but are race track stiff. i hate the fact they dont have damping adjustment, but for the price i suppose you cant complain! Not much fun on B roads with nasty bumps though! Had some horrible bump-oversteer last nite at 80mph! My mate who was following me said i was litteraly 1/2foot from hitting the oncoming car with the arse of my clio! :roll: My great driving saved the day of course! :twisted: :P

Im getting some avo's or leda's in august tho!

Also need to slow down on b roads sometimes! :wink:

It's solid as fook underneath but it's 12 years old and used everyday. It's not perfection on wheels unfortuantely...

However- the arch is getting rubbed down and sprayed up (as it's only surface rust) and the bonnet has a few stone chips etc so I think I might get that resprayed. Apart from that she's pretty much holding up to the weather better than I am :wink: :lol:
