As previously mentioned I am at the this Hillclimb ~~~ about 5/6 miles out of Kirby Lonsdale on Saturday.  I am there in an official capacity  :P  ~ deputy clerk of course !!!.
My standard Williams will be parked on the hillside just past the flying finish, and before the car assembly area.Entries include a Lancia Stratos   ~~ does not say whether or not it is real or a kitcar  ,TVR , 2 x Renault 5Gt Turbos,Alpine Renault,Porsche,a 2500cc Ford Focus ~~ knowing the driver of this it will be a bit special :? 80 plus cars, practice starts at 09:30am,with timed runs commencing after practice.
Anyone there come have a chat.

Ok Folks,
Directions:~ on the A65 from SETTLE, take the first right,BEFORE ,crossing the River Lune ~~ Devils Bridge, you will the pass hundreds of Bikers   ,on the left hand side ~~~ munching burgers etc, from the van (not joking) .The road is the A683 ~~ signposted SEDBERGH,carry on through CASTERTON, and look for the arrows on the right hand side.
For those with an OS.map it is sheet 97,map reference 630825,from Barbon, turn left PAST the church. If you put Barbon,Carnforth in the AA routefinder,it will give you all the details to get you into the village, look forward to seeing you all.
PS,I will be the goodlooking geriatric :P

The Sunbeam has a 400bhp "Cossie" turbo motor with RS500 injectors etc.
The old single seater,is one of only two remaining Single seater Cooper~ Jap racings cars left ~~ Cooper were the forerunner of Brabham
Hope you enjoy

Great pics Rod & thanks, it was a great way to spend a sunny Saturday, Hooligan & Martin you missed a real treat. Interesting cars and knowledgeable company. The 5 GT Turbo looked and sounded amazing as did the cossie engined Talbot Sunbeam, both a credit to their owners/creators.
How the guy in the single seater that spun across the finish line on a 10 ft. wide track, in front of our noses, kept it on the track I'll never know, bet his undies needed a good biowash last night.
