Ive managed to snap my dipstick tube not the dip stick but the tube, are these tapped into the hole or are they bolted inside the sump? luckly ive left atleast 5mm of the tube so can get something to pull it out. it looks like a right pig of a job aswell :(

afternoon old boy,

there tapped in.. a twat to get out..

get some liquid metal, jb metal weld, or other simlar substance sand the offending areas down, clean with alcohol swab, and then using the weldstuff fix thetube back on...

thats one way of doing things

or might get some slightly smaller tubing and sleeve it but remembering that my oil levels will be slightly out.
