Simple question, are the Valver and williams oil filters from renault the same, i have one i got from renault for my Valver and just want to double check its the right one for a Williams.
I wouldnt see why not tbh, but worth checking.

think it depends on having an oil cooler fitted.

My valver had an oil cooler, but they dont ask when you order a filter if it has an oilcooler.

ther is a longer oil filter available if theres no oil cooler fitted.

LOOK INSIDE THE CHEAP FILTERS they do not have the secound filter inside and that causes preshure problems on oil gauge . done this since had reno 5 turbo evey one who had a shagged turbo had a after market oil filter .. i allways get reno one or the gsf whitch is same but they do swap brands gsf allways check..

Always go genuinte renault, i found others dont give as much pressure.

did you cheak with reno ie tell them your chassi number and his too only way to get def answer..

can not see it being a differant filter the reno 5 gt i had was a 1.4 and it is same filter as clio16v .. only a small filter on both cars due to being a twat to fit and loads of plasters later
