I have a full stainless steel system w/cat from Magnex for the Valver.

The centre section, as far as i can tell, has started blowing. Only probs is can you buy these seperate from magnex. Obviously de-cat would be the way to go but I still need something for the MOT and I can't go standard as surely the diameter would be to small to match up to the magnex parts yes?

Any help please lads?!

erm that had crossed my mind...but I'd rather not keep welding over something so I was asking if you can get new centre sections or if magnex etc only sell the systems complete??

if its a 1995 ph2 valver chances are you wont need your cat for your MOT.

Mine didnt last week. Passed with Full Magnex S/S Exhaust system with de-cat. :)

Yeah it went down behind shell garage in woolston for mot and emissions came out at just 0.8 maximum was 3.0 so that must be good want hot though

Its not so much emissions, I think its just some cars coz of the new system just dont actually NEED the cat, wether the emissions are good or not.

I believe it's one of these "not transferable if you buy it secondhand" ones.

Personally, my paperwork wasn't stamped anyway, so I'll have to find a place that does welding. Mine's not terrible but I don't think it's having a positive effect on the power... :?
