its mainly for the engine im bothered about. if someone could do me a list of the earth points that'd quality :D
still trying to cure the poor idle and power problem, so i think is there one on the gearbox? is it front or back and is it easy to spot?

also, this might sound a bit stupid but i'll post it anyway :) what should and shouldn't be earthed? for example the strut on the passengers side is an earth (checking with multimeter) but the drivers side isnt. ??

On mine there was just the one main gearbox earth strap. Goes into the passengers arch - easy to spot..
On the loom there are a few black 0v cables with ring connectors that go under various bolts - all by the gearbox mount - 3 i think, but doubt they would make a difference to idle/power though, just the main gearbox earth...
