Power Steering

The power steering on the 16v at the moment is being really loud and it feels quite heavy, also on occasions the car will cut out if you turn the wheel when it's just idling though that only happens rarely.

Is it likely just to be needing a new power steering pump? If so how much would I be looking at for one of these second hand?

i had 1 off mat brown last month £40 (i think £200 ish new)
bit of a bitch to fit(but what isnt) but so far so good :)

Same i got one of matbrown for £40 too, was fitted earlier this week and all is quiet and dandy so far!
